I believe in the power of a name. Which is why, when I started becoming more serious about photography in college, Travel and Nature Photography seemed both succinct and accurate. I love to travel, and I love taking nature photos. As I've had wonderful opportunities to travel, take pictures, and build community I have realized that the scope of my photos has grown. If I wanted to reflect my desire to be a strong conservation photographer, the name would need to reflect who I was. 
Many already knew my name is Livi Martin, so it seemed fitting to include my name in branding. I don't just love nature photography, I live for it. I live for the conservation of the ecosystems I have come to love. I live for the community I have met both in person and online. 
My passion to use photography to advocate for conservation was fueled by a background in environmental education. As I became more established as a naturalist, I sought to bring my work to my community with my first photography showing at Claddagh Coffee.
Lately, the world has been a tumultuous place. With two showings completed, I've caught the bug and want to keep on going. I wish I knew when I could do my next showing, but I do know that photography gives people light in an otherwise stressful world. For now, I plan on building up the community I have grown to love through photography. When I know when my next showing will be you'll be the first to know.
